Just sitting at the library, thinking about how to go about getting a job. There is no place to store all my crap that I carry around with me. Who's gonna hire a bum with a couple a large backpacks with him. Sure I could discard these bags and all my clothes,but the clothes Im wearing do get rather stinky after a few days in them. I would love to find some place to store the baggage without getting riped off, any ideas? Please comment. I really need the suggestions.

The Good, the Bad and the just plain Ugly!

The good news is I finally aquired a universal power supply for my laptop, the bad news is that I lost my cellphone(someone probably grab it while I was taking a shower in that shelter on W. Washington) No more vids or pics for a long time :( and the ugly news is that the pin inside of the dc power jack on the laptop has broken completely off and needs a new jack soldered on. Things are looking really dim right now, hopefully I can turn things around soon. If any one has a working laptop they can donate please call me at 608-807-4368 Thanks

I finally received my Wisconsin I.D. card in the mail. Somebody must have had surgery and had their head removed from their ass. :) I can get a job soon!

Now its getting bigger. I just read on Yahoo News that Turkish and Iranian forces began shelling Northern Iraq. This shelling was against the Kurds. This war may be the start of the Third World War. I just discovered this place called the Wil-Mar Center. This place feeds people lunch from time to time and they also have a nice little computer center. They will also help with finding jobs and other resources. People are friendy here to. :)

I'm still here and life sucks!!!! At least I think the DMV finally pulled their heads out of their respective asses and will be sending my ID to the right address. Oh if anyone has a power supply for a laptop thats at least 19V dc and 3.16 amps or higher please let me know. Its for my HP Pavilion zu1000 Thanks

This repair shop normally charges $60 for a complete diagnosis(and rebuild), any donations will be gladly accepted with the paypal button. Until I can get my ID money is really hard to come buy. Thanks :)

the bad news is: I have ran out of minutes on my t-mobile to go phone and can not post any new vids.

the good news is: There is a local computer repair shop willing to work with me on getting my new and slightly used laptop up and running. All it needs is a good cleaning,a rebuild and a power supply.(hopefully the power jack would not need a solder job)

UPDATE: DMV sucks!!!

Well after presenting my check for $9.oo,a faded and expired Mississippi Drivers License, and a letter of Residency I find out I still can not get my ID. For some reason the DMV failed to tell me that they have to mail your first Wisconsin ID to your residential address and can not mail it to your mailing address. Usually that would not be a problem,yet if your homeless that can be a big problem. Here is the issue. I have two address on file at the DMV The first address I put down on the form was 116 W. Washington(which is stated on the letter of residency) The second address I had to put down was 1490 Martin St.(the porchlight office) Well Porchlight refuses all mail sent to the mens shelters address and will only accept the mail at the office address. The DMV will not work with porch light on this issue. The mens shelter is located in the basement of a local church right across from the state capitol, and thus has no access to the churches mail. The church can not bother with mail(especially sensitive mail like ID cards and court papers) due to legal issues.The DMV can not understand this and they will only send my ID to the address stated on my letter of residency which porchlight printed up for me.Under new federal laws you are required to provide two forms of ID(ssn card,birth cert)and proof of where you live.Since im homeless I don't live anywhere so getting photo ID to get a job and not be homeless is rather difficult. Think about that next time you here someone tells a homeless guy to get a job,sometimes we can't. I would try to change my address to 1490 martin st,but porchlight wont print up a residency letter with that change(the dmv probably wont take that either).

Life can be a circus

After working for 16 hours a day for three days I was having such bad asthma attacks they had to call an ambulance for me. After being released from the hospital this circus was already gone. I was never paid anything and all my belongings are still in the back of one of their trucks.(including the charger for my cell phone.) The Ripon,WI police Dept. and the kind nurses at the hospital helped me get back to Madison,WI

Well, Im back in Madison. I made a big mistake in joining the circus. I only have a minute left on this computer and my phone is down. Ill be posting again monday to explain the Barnes and Bailey Circus incident. If your ever on the streets and trying to get back on your feet, the circus is NOT the way to go.

This is Peace Park just off of State St. Its a popular hangout spot for the hippies and homeless. Sometimes "normal" people sit there to,but they are soon scared off by some random drunken begger.

Well there is the farmers market. :) I wish I could post another pic today,but time is almost up on the library computer, and Im almost out of minutes on my cellphone. Yesterday I paid the 9 bucks for my new ID card. The DMV confiscated my old expired Missippi one and told me I had to wait 2 weeks for my new ID. Well, they could not print up a receipt for me wich made no sence, so Im without any photo id for 2 more weeks. Im also without work and money to buy smokes with. This is gonna suck! Whats more crazy is they could have printed up and lamenated my ID card onsite. The person in front of me at that place got her ID the same day. The explaination was to me is this. If you never had held a Wisconsin ID they have to mail your new one to you (and it takes them two weeks!). I can't buy smokes without proper photo ID. So if you see me bumin for smokes thats why. I hate begging!!!,but I also go nuts without coffee and nicotine(the only to drug habbits I have) well my times almost up on this library computer. So I'll be posting soon.

P.S. if someone has an older laptop they are not using, I could really use one. Library computers are limted and blogging from a cell phone is getting expensive. I only have $20.00 in minutes left and its a tmobile to go phone. Thanks
